Two Brands, Two Stories at Les Halles de Paris

The “insiders” know the history of Rue du Jour, the first agnès b. store, and its famous lamb logo.
The Paris market halls… they’re also part of Paraboot’s history and the unbeatable pair of shoes worn by artisans— indestructible and irreplaceable.
As early as the 1920s, when Paraboot set up shop at 6 Rue du Bourg l’Abbé du Stock, the brand began marketing products specifically tailored to the market at Les Halles in Paris.
Naturally, artisans in the food trade (meat, poultry, game, tripe, fish, fruits, and vegetables) come to stock up on work equipment after they have sold their goods.
This unbeatable model, created around the same time, quickly became a bestseller. Thanks to its high-top design, simple construction, sturdy leather, and Norwegian-stitched rubber sole, this model was a huge hit with artisans.
They demand shoes that are comfortable to walk in and built to last. The mahogany-red leather version was highly prized for its ability to hide any bloodstains.
Ever since then, the “Imbattable” has remained, once and for all, the iconic model of Les Halles de Paris. So it was a no-brainer: the “Imbattable” will be at the heart of this collaboration.
